The Cookhill Parish playground, located off Church Lane, has recently undergone extensive development to provide a wider range of facilities, which are suitable for all ages.

Following suggestions from residents the following equipment was added to the playground in 2016 and feedback has been very positive:

  • Adult Exercise Equipment

The Parish Council is delighted to confirm that following a successful funding allocation from Wychavon District Council the play equipment provided for local children has now been extensively upgraded to include;

  • A Bird’s Nest Basket Swing
  • A Multi Play Unit – climbing frame/tower (to replace the wooden balance trail)
  • Updated Table Tennis Table & Goals

Annual Inspections

RoSPA Playsafety carry out an inspection of the site annually, reporting back to the Parish Council should any repairs be required. Additionally, the site is inspected regularly throughout the year for maintenance purposes, the grass mowed, the goals moved and the table tennis table kept well stocked!

The Parish Council is very grateful for the funding received from the New Homes Bonus scheme and also Section 106 Fund from Wychavon District Council.
